Liz
Hello, my name is Liz Valadez, I am a fashion enthusiast and a visionary artist. I’m also a co-founder of Nativas Studios. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and my love for fashion developed there. In high school, I was drawn towards the arts, and my interest in fashion was cultivated when I would visit Hollywood and Melrose Avenue. It was there that I discovered the best-kept secrets of vintage clothing stores, and my eye for shopping and styling evolved.
As a first-generation Mexican-American, I had limited resources, but I had a ton of ideas to navigate my passion for fashion. I learned how to repurpose clothing with my sewing skills, which I acquired from my mother. Choosing fabric colors and styles that are suitable for different occasions became my forte.
At the age of 16, I attended modeling classes, which helped me become comfortable in front of the camera and on the runway. Later, I enrolled in hair school, where my interest in hair was born. Combining all these fields is what makes me a qualified visionary artist. I can see a person's inner beauty and capture their essence, bringing out the best in them.
I come with layers of talents, and I love to work with people from all walks of life. My goal is to use my skills to make others feel good about themselves and help them embrace their individuality. Fashion is more than just clothes; it's about expressing oneself and feeling confident in one's skin.

Hey there! My name is Richelle Monae and I am a photographer and co-founder of Nativas Studios. Originally from Denver, Colorado and having spent half of my life in Los Angeles, before making a recent move to Austin, Texas.
My passion for photography stems from my desire to create a safe space where people can truly express themselves. Whether it's behind the camera or in front of it, I believe in the power of art to connect and communicate with others. Having experience on both sides of the camera, I understand the vulnerability that can come with being in front of the lens, and I aim to make every session a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
I am particularly passionate about music and the creative arts, and I have a deep respect for people who work in corporations as well as those who have built their own businesses from the ground up. I love meeting new people and I am known for being open, friendly, and fun-loving. During photo sessions, I strive to create an environment that is both lighthearted and enjoyable. My goal is to connect with my clients on a personal level, and to help them reveal their true selves in front of the camera. I believe that everyone has something special to share with the world.
